Last friday morning my mom, 94 years old was taken to the ER at Pacifica. she was diagnosed with heart failure, which we all suspected for her age. The ER doctors there were very kind and and informative. she was later taken to the CCU dept. where the cartiologist confirmed that her heart was failing, after we declined any life support for my mom, which she made us to consent to long before, knew it was only a motter of time that she would pass. The head nurse and the others there were very kind and compassionate in helping us dealing with the situation. My mom obviously had spent time in hospitals in the past and never had I seen such compassion and empithy from a hospital staff. I would like to thank that staff that was working there for helping us cope with our loss, and being so personal and making us feel comfortable with the whole situation.
Once again I would like to thank all the nurses and doctors that helped us at this time. Thank you for being human and real.
