Review of Santa Cruz Post Acute

5 Star User Review

My stay here was excellent. It was a lot better than I ever imagined. I came in with the perception that I was not going to like it and be put with residents way older than me, but they didn't. When I did have a roommate joining me they put roommates that where around my age and I could communicate with. The first minutes of my arrival people came in to introduce themselves which made me more comfortable and relaxed. The nurses and the CNA's were excellent and very wonderful. They always went Above and Beyond to take care of my needs and my roommates needs. They really care about your comfort. My room was always cleaned and if it needed cleaning, housekeeping always came as soon as they could to come clean up the mess. I was very spoiled here. The food was good. I don't think I've ever eaten so many veggies in my life which is a good thing because now ill make it part of my diet. Everyone from the first day treated me with respect. Everyone was fabulous. The therapy was "top-notch." The therapists were good too me, they always had a great attitude, very like-able, funny and they don't let you say No. Which is a good thing because they want you to get better and stronger. Rehab thought me I can use many practical things and inexpensive equipment that I might have at home to continue some therapy on my own. I came in a gurney not being able to walk when i first arrived and i walked out walking from this facility. This facility saved my life and I'm so thankful I came to this facility and met all the wonderful staff who helped in my recovery.
