I agree to the above review completely. The Director of nursing has no sympathy at all and is very discriminatory. I believe this place needs a complete investigation. Because they know how to hide info very well. All i know is i wouldn't put a family member in there. I cant speak for all the staff…because the rehab is excellent and some of the LVN's are super. But the upper people need some help.

I set up a meeting requesting details as to how much actual physical, speech and occupational therapy my father was receiving while at the SNF for a month for a stroke. Instead of giving me the information they called 911 and had him sent to the ER. They refused to take him back. They gave us no notice of his discharge. When I finally found a SNF to take him today they found unreported bedsores and a mysterious large bruise on his hip.

Sir: I just left your facility after eight weeks. I found much good and much bad, with your therapy department being outstanding. all staffers being knowledgeable, professional and kind. I would commend Bon Estrella, Melanie Dunniway and Dave Tramell.

You have some good CNAs and nurses, Fredelina, Mercy Rose Marie and Nita at the front desk. However, one CNA yelled at me because I had not gotten ready for bed before her shift neared its end. Another argued with me when I said I had to go to he bathroom and she snapped she was too busy clearing trays. On my last night, a nurse was informed that I needed my catheter irrigated. She showed up 4 1/2 hours later.

Most times a CNA will quickly answer a call for help. However, response time slows significantly when your census is down and you lay off CNAs.

Non-nursing. . .as reported to me, one of your cleaning women said she thought I was looking down on her (most uncharacteristic) and so did not clean the room for three days. Other days went by without my room being cleaned.

Other: . .entrance and exit buttons at the facility difficult to reach, risers at entrance and patient rooms difficult to maneuver and possibly a danger.

Your food is horrible. Eggs and soggy toast every day, noodle soup every day, unrecognizable meats with soggy vegetables, and sandwiches for dinner.

I just spent two weeks in a 4 bed ward and came home today. The only real complaint I have is administrations apparent lack of consideration to 3 of the patients who were being subjected to one persons night time mental condition. It made life very hard for us as we couldn't sleep and were continuously bombarded by her confused state. (The nursing staff were also carrying a heavy burden with this patient.) We were miserable and felt administration just didn't care after our complaints. I do want to say the nursing staff was very friendly and professional and would gladly place myself under their care at any time. The food was typical of institutions with momentary bursts of surprise.

My Mom is a patient here. She has been for 7 months now. This is the 3rd place she has been to and by far the favorite. It is clean, it doesnt have a bad smell (usually) and the patients are treated like equals with rights and choices. She is young and does not want to have to live in a facility. But her disabilty requires care. This place makes her happy considering her situation and the staff are so friendly.

It says they take Medicare and Medicaid, but they try to get rid of these types of patients as quickly as possible so they can make more money. They don't take care of the patients on a timely basis. If the patient is ill they call the family to ask what they want them to do. Really? Aren't they supposed to know which course of treatment to follow. When asked what their normal procedure is if the patient shows certain symptoms, they ask you "Oh, you want us to follow normal procedure?". This place should seriously be investigated. I don't believe they have qualified personnel to treat the patients and many patients have been removed by family members due to their negligence. It used to be a great place, but since the ownership changed they have lost all professionalism, etiquette, caring, and empathy. Everything now is about how much money they can make off a patient.
