I just discovered that a registered sex offender (from Meganslaw.org) lives in Bixby Towers. He is a convicted rapist. When I called to ask why we weren't told and to ask what safeguards were in place to protect the employees and residents, the man with whom I spoke was arrogant and defensive, saying the rapist had a right to live there, that he was very nice and had lots of friends. He indicated that safeguards were none of my business. When I asked if we needed to get attorneys involved to find out how my mother is being protected, he rudely said "go for it."
Think twice about exposing your loved one to a place that is this uncaring and supports a registered sex offender.
