This hospital is only if you have to get somewhere quick otherwise most community goes to Bakeersfeild or Ridgecrest or LA. Chronic patients should beware of the ability to get care. There are numerous and regular complaints about care, the cleanliness of the ER, the background of doctors and surgeons and administrators.
I think we should have a questionnaire on this site for consumers who have used the facility. There should be links to background check for each member of the leadership team, boards, management, and even registry and temporary nurses.
A registry nurse last year allegedly strangled a 70 year old woman in the ER. Who are these people. What portion of the hospital is run by per diem types. The information about pharmacy practices and suppliers would help consumers.
Knowing who and how much experience people have, any negative background information.
Survey information and joint commission details from investigations, surveys, or reports from consumers.
I would feel more comfortable hearing from consumers who have experienced the treatment. Simple statistics aren't always tell tale, some may have an old mistake, doctors, nurses, make mistakes, but in context would be more fair.
However, the consumer should have a foundation to decide on their health. People's health are destroyed everyday from mistakes. A partnership, a democratic healthcare reform would be welcome.
Anything your site creators would add to aid consumers in their choices such as making an extra trip to a bigger hospital with specialists versus going to a close, understaffed, rural, hospital with a few doctors, they need to make a good choice.
Heart pains, go close and hope for a quick transfer. What are the transfer times, what government agencies have this information?
Are these facts that are supposed to be reported? Should hospitals police themselves as they do. They can change medical records if they want easily.
There is necessary information, and anything you can provide would be a welcome change.
