I placed my uncle in Palomar Heights Care Center for respite care on several occasions and will continue to place my disabled uncle in their care. From a nurses perspective, it's difficult to find a truly wonderful and loving enviornment that makes us feel like family (keep in mind, I trust no one with my uncle).
My uncle thoroughly enjoys his stays at Palomar Heights and really enjoys the activities they have to offer their residents.
I felt secure knowing my uncle was in good hands and that the staff made him feel at home each night before going to bed. They had a great way of calming his anxiety with being away from home.
He absolutely loved the food that they had to offer. Meals were his favorite time of day.
This is the only place that I will bring my uncle for respite care. The friendly staff always eager to greet us and take care of our needs makes this decision very easy to make! This will be the only place I will allow my uncle to stay.
