this place is not good… very unprofessional and does NOT follow california state health codes. it is not as clean as they advertise. The only people who were helpful was the front desk receptionist, the DON and Administrator was rude. I can understand why the nurses/ employment turn over is so frequent… no one seems to want to work for them under such conditions.

the nurses and cna's let call lights keep ringing. on one visit the department of health was there therefore they were all on their best behavior, being polite and helpful. I regret sending my great-aunt here and will definitely take them out of consideration for any of my loved ones needing a nursing home. i do not recommend this place at all.

This is the worst nursing home I have ever seen, and in my nine years in the medical field I have seen a lot. The owner is only in the business to make money with absolutely no regard for the condition of the property or care to patients. The building is extremely dirty and in major need of repairs. I don't think the walls have even been painted in at least 10 years. Due to restrictions set by the owner, the facility is short of all supplies and extremely short staffed, especially for nurses aides. Call lights are not answered in a timely manner, and patients are routinely left to sit in wet, dirty diapers for hours at a time. Equipment is very rare to find in this building, and wheelchairs are commonly switched among patients on a daily basis, leading to very poor infection control measures. The medication nurses are incompetent, with poor communication to doctors, poor medical knowledge and treatment skills. There was even an incident where a LVN did not know how to administer CPR to a patient that was not breathing. The administration is also so cheap that they tell patients family members that they have to purchase medical equipment or pay for services that the building is actually being paid by medicare to provide. I would never send a family member or friend this building. Make the extra drive and effort to send your loved one to a facility in the San Diego area, it is worth it.

im surprised that place is still open….that facility desperately screams "shut down under review" i've never seen such poor professionalism beyond me…seriously it takes the staff 5 mins to respond the call light!!! i was taught that you respond the call light promptly!! i will not recommend this place to anyone…they dont follow rules of policy when it comes to cleaning the patients rooms or tending the patients when they need attention my grandma may god rest her precious soul never developed a bed sore til we admitted her that tells me the staff are too lazy to ambulate the patient…staff are so ignorant to patients and inconsistant when it comes to doing their jobs sorry to say but that place is a "hell hole"
