My mother had to stay there a few days for an antibiotic IV and what a nightmare! They took away her prescriptions and made her take theirs and she had a reaction and ended up in ICU for 2 days. Her throat was swollen all day and was nearly closed and no one there noticed until my sister called the front desk and made a scene and they hauled her away.
She had to share her bathroom with a lady and 2 men and did not have a shower for a week until she got home. The sheets are scratchy and there was no way to ring for assistance in the rooms. They would not let her leave. We had to get really ugly about it. And they charged medicare for lots of things she never received. It is all about the money for them and to hell with the patients. I am scared that many of the people are trapped in there and cannot get out. What a hell hole.
