I was transfered in the evening from St. Joseph's to the burbank facility after my knee replacement for rehabilitation and bed sores. My stay with them lasted over a month but they communicated my progress throughly. The physical therapy was very encouraging and aided me to meet the goals I needed to make it back home safely. The rehabiliation went as planned. The nursing staff was good but the RN supervisor and another man who is not a nurse but in administration were great they made morning and afternoon rounds to inquire about my pain, or to see if I had any concerns. The Director of Nursing also makes rounds in the evenings. The wound specialist, although very quite did a fantastic job with my wounds, which were healed completely. The Social Services girls were also very helpful. The only reason that I didn't grade them a 5 star was the noise level of staff frequently being paged to extension numbers or to DSD Office? That was exhausting for someone that is trying to get some rest. Overall I would recommend the facility for its committment to get me home fully recovered.
