This is a factory that holds vulnerable people in their hospital/jail. They DO NOT provide treatment, but rather keep their patients (a loose term) chronically ill so that they can collect their day rate that Medicare/Medical pays of $1,500 per day. My loved one was in this facility for "rehab." and they did NOTHING to rehab her. Her bedsore never healed, the Dr debrided it without anesthesia (as I walked in one day to hear her screaming), some of the night nurses are in the wrong profession and should have their licenses revoked and the doctors leave their cars running in the parking lot while they make rounds. (I saw one of the doctors exit his Range Rover as his wife left the car running and his Starbucks in the drink container as he made his rounds - wow! what fantastic care). It all revolves around profit - deliver the least care to receive maximum profits. A few of the nurses told me their nurse to patient ratio is 10:1 v. 5:1 as required by state law. They turn every 6 hours on a schedule v. when the patient needs it. My loved one was swimming in feces that broke down skin and caused several septic infections. These people (aside from a few good docs and nurses)…but the owners and mangers should burn in hell!
