I would not recommend that anyone place their loved ones wqith this facility.my loved one is permanently damaged for life as they did not take precautions.i called every day asking him to be removed from certain medications which made him so sick,the nurse pract. must be very stupid.Once you get your loved one in there even if it fore a short time they think they own him or her.they double dosed my husband "s .medication.There was abuse by staff,which was reported and nothing was done.They are in it for the money and not for good care,promises were made that they never lived up to.This place is not for your loved ones.The food was terrible and would not feed it to a dog.This place should be shut down.This is a house of horrors and would not rate it but in order to get this review to go thru you have to rate it 1-5 well ,they should get a 1 star for the worst as that is how i am seeing it.They thought things that happened were so funny,well my family & I do not see the funny in this my loved one suffered tthe whole time he was there,and still continues to do so.,I could go on and on about things there but i say to all of you that are thinking on placing your loved one there please check this place out completely and you will change your mind.there were other people who came to see my loved one while he was there and they were not happy either. Westview you should be shut down SHAME ON YOU!!!

I truly agree this Westview should be shut down,and it is a house of horrors as the person had said.Why does the state let these places continue with just a slap on the wrist.They should get people in there who really cares about the patients and not just lining their own pockets,as too we had a family member placed there and the future of that loved one is not good,we felt just awful when we were aware of what was going on.The damage has already been done,you could not get thru on the phone when a problem occured and by the time you did get thru they were not concerned.Once your loved one is there they act like they own that person and you fight like heck to get them removed.I do not think they should be in business,look at the reviews people before placing yoiur loved ones there,infact go to the county agencies and see how many times people have complained,we had to.But be aware they have sister homes which .is ran terribly also .My loved one will never be the same and with all his life long injuries due to their neglance.There was just so many things completely wrong with that place and it does not do any good to go for meetings,they either don"t show up leaving you waitng and nothing is done as they promised..We really need to take a stand against this place and just let people know how deathly this place is,we know,and now our loved one will suffer the rest of life,which is not a quality of life it is just existing painfully day after day.I could go on more but thank God for this website so people can make reviews about Westview care.We have been there and certainly will not recommend this place to anyone,and seen employees bringing pets and them urinating all over and they did not clean it up,dogs trying to get on patients beds even after patients complained and it still happened.There is alot of good in helpanimals being brought to cheer up the patients but this was different and not to say not very sanitary as they have at other fascilitys special people bringing in the animals and making sure they act appropiate and do not urinate all over,this was not the case there. I would like to know what rules HA!!! HA!! that they follow.We would not hope for any more people to have to go thru this,it is awful seeing our loved one suffering due to their neglect.We hope that more people will write their reviews about this place letting know how their loved ones were mistreated.This is just awful.As far as my thought about Westview they do not care and is an awful place.We want to protect our loved ones and this place sure is not the place to send them to.
