Review of Cabot Health and Rehab, LLC

1 Star User Review

I would not even give one star. My father went there after hip surgery for rehab. He had Alzheimer's and the staff had no skills to handle dementia patients. They had no protection to keep him from walking un supervised on his injured hip, not even rails on the bed or safety harness in a wheel chair. Nurses unconcerned with patient pain issues. His bed only had a hand crank to raise/ lower head, like ancient hospitals. Only metal folding chairs for visitors. Horrible food: sandwiches, mystery hamburgers/casseroles. Dad fell on his injured hip in the few hours my mother left to get something to eat. He was there less than a week. We wanted to remove him the first day, but didn't think we had other options. Fight for your parents! There are other options for rehab. St Vincent was our savior. Also, Admin staff was not helpful getting a referral to another facility.
