Although there are a few exceptions, the staff ignores patients. Alzheimer's patients are kept in a large day room sort of like a big break room. Usually there is staff present but they rarely interact with patients. They don't talk to patients and most staff will not even help them eat or drink at meal times. Patients are not given an adequate water intake daily which contributes to the high rate of Urinary Track Infections among residents. Not only is there a lack of medical care at this facility there is also a lack of compassion.
