My grandmother's call button was out of service for 2 days! She was/is completely incapacitated and had no way to get help when she needed assistance. It took them TWO HOURS to figure out that she needed assistance and it was due to her roommate's ability to walk out and tell the nursing staff! This is not acceptable. There should never be a time when a call button is not functioning for someone who is not able to care for themselves. The only reason why I did not rate the home a 1/5 is simply because my grandma has said she does feel like the nursing staff has compassion and are gentle and caring. We are seriously considering another home in the area.
